Introduction to NGS data & analysis
About this course
Targeted audience:
- Anybody who wants to learn more about NGS analysis (what techniques, how they work and what the first general steps are in analysis of the data)
Programme:
Contrary to other training sessions of BIOI2, it will mainly be an introductory presentation on different NGS techniques, explanations of the raw output files and how to manipulate/read them and explanation of the first steps in analysing them with just a small amount of practical work on Quality Control (QC) of NGS data.
Requirements (for now):
- we might be using the I2BC cluster and the command line for the QC analysis so you might benefit from the IFB’s beginner’s guide to bash/command line
- you will probably also need a laptop with a possibility of connecting to the internet on the Gif CNRS campus (Eduroam for example)
